Mobile InteractivitySince the mid '90s, the reduction in size and cost of mobile phone handsets has led to penetration levels of almost 90% in Europe. Once the use of mobiles for voice calls became ubiquitous and GPRS was launched, the seed was sown for a "revolution in mobile interactivity". According to the Mobile Data Association, 75% of the UK population were able to surf the mobile internet on their handsets by the end of 2005, as well as receive multimedia messages. If ordinary text messaging is considered as well, nine out of ten customers can be reached with and respond to traditional advertising using their mobile phone's data capabilities. The addition of colour screens and enhanced software now means that the average person is carrying in their pocket a small but powerful computer. (See facts and figures.) The use of Mobile Data Services by organisations to interact with their 'customers', efficiently and regardless of place or time, is what we call the Mobile Interactivity Revolution. This revolution brings exciting new opportunities in the three areas where Incentivated operates; Mobile Marketing, Mobile Customer Service and Mobile Commerce. Click on one of the three circles below for more information on the different areas of the revolution, or on Client Sectors to find out how we can help an organisation like yours.
