Award winning, independent mobile marketing agency Incentivated seeks a Technical Pre-Sales Manager to help us achieve our aggressive growth plans. You'll be shaping the UK’s leading mobile marketing agency.

About the Role

You will be the interface between the Technical and Commercial (New Business and Account Management) teams and assist us generate revenue across a variety of clients and sectors. You will have broad experience and an understanding of the sales cycle and technology, be able to work directly with clients and take responsibility for requirement gathering and project scoping. Your output will help us win business by giving the Directors something to price against and your time with clients will reassure them that we know what we are doing, can manage their data or m-commerce solutions securely, and that we have a resilient platform.

Your responsibilities will cover the following:

  • Assisting with scoping out client solutions i.e. generating a detailed brief if the client does not supply one
  • Overcoming technical objections to using mobile
  • Attending pre sales meetings with members from the New Business team or Account Management team when required
  • Participating in conference calls of a technical nature
  • Conducting telephone and face-to-face client demos (all pre-sales)
  • Supporting the Commercial Team in response to tenders/PQQ/RFPs/RFIs/pitches by creating boiler-plate and bespoke written answers
  • Design/trouble shooting of bespoke technical solutions during the build/delivery phase
  • Answering any general pre sales queries to assist in pricing our proposals
  • Producing documentation of a technical and bespoke nature to support the Commercial team
  • Learning the company portfolio of products and understanding how our products and services can solve clients’ problems

Knowledge/Experience required

  • A consultative sales approach
  • Direct contact with customers and working as part of a team
  • Digital and/or mobile experience
  • Immersion in a pre sales environment with ability to talk confidently about technical solutions
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Communication, presentation, listening, and writing skills
  • Technical training experience is desirable
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, work to tight deadlines and stay calm

Package

Starting salary: depends on experience. Guide: £35k-£40k depending on experience + healthcare + options.

You'll be shaping the UK’s leading mobile marketing agency.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for developing your own new business pipeline, and converting prospects into first time users of mobile. You’ll have a background of winning business from public sector clients, and come with digital marketing experience. Mobile experience would be a bonus but is not essential.

Your responsibilities will cover the following

  • Identifying budget holders within public sector organisations and securing meetings
  • Probing for information from prospects
  • Undertaking research into clients and their communication strategies
  • Working with our internal teams - marketing, creative, and technical - to create winning new business pitches
  • Presenting to senior decision makers
  • Formulating future long term ideas for adopting mobile

Successful candidates will enjoy excellent career development and training.

Package

Starting salary: depends on experience. Guide: up to £27k - £35k depending on experience + generous commission scheme + healthcare + options.

Our Account Executives work with our Account Managers on developing campaigns and services for key clients and agencies; this includes

  • Researching the client's business and industry
  • Brainstorming novel mobile ideas with our creative, marketing and technical teams and preparing proposals

You should be proficient with all the basic Microsoft packages.
